Earlier this month, we posted about Cannes PR Lions 10 Year Exhibition in Japan, a major online retrospective of some of the most strikingly original and impactful PR campaigns to earn recognition at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity over the last ten years.
The free digital exhibition has now been expanded with Lions Good News 2020, a collection of positive stories from the creative sector in a year that has largely been dogged by disruption and ill tidings.
From a gesture of support for front-line health workers by celebrated guerrilla artist Banksy, to a message of unity and courage from the world of sport, and a fresh example of how video games can bridge the interpersonal gap necessitated by social distancing measures, the collection serves as a reminder of how creativity can have an essential, and very practical, role to play even in society’s most difficult times.
